| Our
expert WING teams of designers
and programmers have all of the
necessary tools to create a world-class
application for your organization.
In addition, WING can build
powerful Web-based applications
for almost any purpose. We can
provide business intelligence
solutions and self-service applications
using the intuitive, tag-based
scripting language of Microsoft
.NET. The .NET platform delivers
high performance, reliability,
and portability when it comes
to your business needs.
WING has extensive experience
using Microsoft .NET because
we teach this technology to
various audiences. We can develop
a Remoting infrastructure and
Microsoft ASP.NET Web service
to enable cross-process communication,
explain how both technologies
work, and provide design guidance
on how to choose the one that
is right for your application.
The key components are:

Microsoft®
ASP.NET Web services |
 |
Microsoft®
.NET Framework |
 |
Microsoft®
.NET Remoting |

Browser-based
Web applications are loosely coupled
and remarkably interoperable.
They communicate using HTTP to
exchange MIME-typed data in a
wide range of formats. Web services
adapt the traditional Web programming
model for use from all sorts of
applications, not just browser-based
ones. They exchange SOAP messages
using HTTP and other Internet
protocols. Because Web services
rely on industry standards, including
HTTP, XML, SOAP and WSDL, to expose
application functionality on the
Internet, they are independent
of programming language, platform
and device.
ASP.NET makes building real
world Web applications dramatically
easier. ASP.NET server controls
enable an HTML-like style of
declarative programming that
let you build great pages with
far less code than with classic
ASP. Displaying data, validating
user input, and uploading files
are all amazingly easy. Best
of all, ASP.NET pages work in
all browsers -- including Netscape,
Opera, AOL, and Internet Explorer.
